The great volcano Ojos del Salado is a volcano located in the Atacama region of northern Chile. It is a volcano that has become the goal of many climbers around the world since it is the highest volcano on the planet, with its 6,893 meters above sea level it rises above all the existing volcanoes in the world. Also, it is the second highest mountain in all America after the great Aconcagua that exceeds it by only 70 meters. Also many people from different parts of the world come to this sector of the "Puna" the Atacama to acclimatize to go to the Himalayas, due to their "easy" access to the high altitude of this mountains. Day 1

Santiago de Chile – Bahia Inglesa (Sea level).

Day 2

Bahía Inglesa – Laguna Santa Rosa (3.700 m – 12,140 ft).

Day 3

Ascent of acclimatization to “Siete Hermanas” Hill (4.800 m – 15,748 ft). Night in Laguna Santa Rosa.

Day 4

Laguna Santa Rosa – Laguna Verde . Night in Laguna verde (4.350 m – 14,271 ft).

Day 5

Ascent of acclimatization to San Francisco Volcano (6.018 m – 19,744 ft). Night in Laguna Verde.

Day 6

Laguna Verde – Refugio Murray. Night in Refugio Murray (4.500 m – 14,763 ft).

Day 7

Refugio Murray – Refugio Atacama (5.300 m – 17,388 ft).

Day 8

Refugio Atacama – Summit – Refugio Murray. Night in Refugio Murray at 4.500 m.

Day 9

Refugio Murray – Bahía Inglesa (Sea Level)
