Mt. Provincia
Big Mountain Bike

This great mountain range located at the southeast of Santiago, is one of the peaks that are part of the "Sierra de Ramón" mountain range, which divides the valley of Santiago with the Andean Cajón del Maipo. It is one of the most visited mountains by mountaineers in the central area due to the proximity of its access to the center of the city. After a hard climb of 5 to 6 hours with our bikes we will arrive at one of the most emblematic viewpoints of the central zone, which gives us a panoramic view to all cardinal points. A Bigmountainbike experience just for experts.

ITINERARY

Pick up at 07:30 AM at home or hotel. We will start our climb by Morro Guayacan and from there we will reach with the edge of Cerro Provincia and Altos del Naranjo and then ride through the shoulder of the Mt. Provincia and then after 5 hrs aprox reach its summit. The climb is approx. 6 Hours and the descent is a descent of more than 1 hour of pure downhill and freeride, but it is not any downhill, it is a DH of a very hostile terrain; many swichbacks, carrying the bike through exposed rocks (on the climb too), rockgardens etc. The interested biker must have experience in Downhill due to the difficulty of this. Between 17 and 18 hrs we should be back in the car to enjoy a rich cold beer.
